This place is so cool!! First impressions walking in were great. It's nice chill music going and a chill vibe. The owner and staff were friendly and helpful.
My friend and I decided that we would get 2 separate things and spilt them to do a taste test. We decided on "The Philly" which is like a philly steak and cheese sandwich a savory biscuit. We also wanted to get a sweet biscuit, so we got "The Georgia Peach" it was very much like a good homemade peach cobbler with brown sugar! Overall the biscuits were so great! Perfect buttery flakiness everyone looks for in a biscuit. I will definitely be coming back! -

First time writing I believe...
Bottom line up front:
The biscuit.... is a dream. A soft buttery cloud expertly prepared with love and baked to perfecting. The gravy is another star of the meal the consistency is perfect for the biscuit meal with wonderful spicy sausage chucks throughout. The cheese sauce I got SOS so I could try it without the risk of ruining anything..... that sauce was one of the better cheese sauces I can remember ever having. It is like a fondue but better buttery, nutty and coats everything in an amazing velvet like blanket of flavor. It is perfectly blended and very clearly made from scratch.
The chicken and egg frittata were good as well but nothing I would comment on specifically. You could not go wrong with any combination available as the biscuits are amazing and the star of the establishment.

The location is a great little spot on "the avenue" with plenty of street parking and seemingly wonderful for a light stroll after a meal. After walking in the front door I was just about halfway in the restaurant at the back of a small line.
I wait patiently as biscuits are being prepared and wheeled to their customers(they really do look amazing).
As I approach the head of the line the friendly lady at the register is taking orders and is the one responsible for the delicious flaky and buttery creations. She announces they will take a break from taking orders so she can go and mix and bake biscuits, herself, by hand and from scratch. Which I totally understand (she has one oven/stove and one griddle for everything). As she returns she takes my order and says she's so thirsty and asks if I want to split a drink with her(I say of course). Now I'm saying this because being a kind of ex-chef I can totally relate and I absolutely love the down home honesty she portrays and how candid everything was. Truly a unique and personable experience in a world whitewashed with terribly over-praised egg "bistros" that have extensive but poorly executed menus. I'm looking at you Wild Egg .
From what I can tell it seems some of the staff she employs are lacking in experience and attention to detail (making double orders/ lack of communication/ order production and sequencing) I fear those things could end up damaging her bottom line In the long run. But they're easy to correct if they're ever not busy enough to make corrections. She could probably benefit from a tech update for order tracking and maybe adding another stove. (Easier said that done in today's financial climate).
Let's talk about the wait. I recognize in this moment I would be considered pretty generous, maybe it's my current mood or my excitement for a refreshingly new take on biscuits. The wait has been over an hour and half. Now taking everything into consideration (note above paragraph) I am perfectly happy and capable to wait. That being said, I would recommend calling in your order. -

This place is one of those small Frankfort Ave. restaurants without a lot of decor and a little pricey but they wow you with their food. Everything they make incorporates a biscuit.
I came in at 11 AM looking for something more suited for lunch so I chose the Korean Que. It's a spicy beef dish that goes surprisingly well with a biscuit as I'm sure I'll say about each box I enjoy. It didn't look like a lot of food in the box but it was more than it looked and it filled me. It was delicious!
They have many meal options and I can't wait to try them! Next time I'm going to have one of the sweet choices. Either the Maple Bacon Biscuit (has maple syrup) or the Georgia Peach. -

The name and concept brought me here and for the most part I was disappointed. The service was ok, prompt, but not particularly friendly or encouraging of suggestions. As a frequent traveler, I like places to
Give an idea of some of their favorites and this didn't occur. I got the maple bacon biscuit. It came out quickly and was warm but not hot which led me to question freshness which for almost $9 I just expected. The bacon was delicious as was the maple butter. The biscuit was good, and quite large but not the best one I've ever had. The syrup was also a bit overdone. There were portions that were too soggy to eat. Id probably still try them again because I blame some of the issues on the to go container. Still overall probably not worth going out of the way for -

This place is so good. The biscuit is soft and fluffy, not dense and rigid. I've been here twice, once for lunch and once for breakfast. For lunch, I ordered the chicken pot pie. It had nice big chunks of tender chicken, pees, carrots, and the cream sauce was outstanding. For breakfast, I ordered the gravy train on fire. The gravy was delicious, and the chicken wasn't overly spicy.
The staff is super friendly and polite.
Do yourself a favor and check this place out!
